About the Recipe
This lemon pepper glaze is especially close to my heart. It’s one of the very first sauce recipes I ever created during a really hard season in my life, when I needed something that felt comforting, easy, and full of flavor without requiring anything fancy. I built this recipe using simple, common ingredients I already kept around the house, making it approachable, reliable, and stress-free.
The result is a bright, buttery, and flavor-packed glaze with fresh lemon, cracked black pepper, garlic, and herbs. It’s bold but balanced, familiar yet elevated, proof that good food doesn’t have to be complicated. This recipe carried me through tough days, I put it on all kinds of chicken, drums, bone in thighs, wings.... and has since become a staple I love sharing with family, friends, and now with you.

Ingredients
½ stick butter
1½ lemons, juiced and zested
2–3 garlic cloves, minced
1½ tbsp black pepper (fresh cracked if you can, friend)
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp thyme (fresh or dried)
1 tbsp parsley (fresh or dried)
½ tsp salt
¼ tbsp chicken seasoning (bouillon)
Preparation
Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
Add lemon zest and fresh lemon juice.
Stir in garlic, pepper, honey, thyme, parsley, salt, and chicken seasoning.
Whisk vigorously until the glaze is smooth and all seasonings are fully dissolved.
In a large bowl, add hot, crispy chicken wings. Drizzle the lemon pepper glaze over the top and toss until evenly coated.
